What will life be like in 2032? Will it be a world where we, as customers, are fully conscious and especially careful of what we consume and spend our money on to ensure the greater good of humanity and society. Let's find out by consulting Linda, our fictional character who allows us to gaze into the future!

Imagine a world where we as customers are fully conscious and especially careful of what we consume, buy, and spend our money on to ensure the greater good of humanity and society. Only the brands and products that are carbon-free, fully recycled, and do no harm to the environment will thrive.

With the government driving prices down, more services will be available to the masses, nurturing equality. All mobility needs are accommodated. Innovation of products will not be prioritized, but states will aim for more innovation in the energy sector. Thus, electric vehicles are increasing with greater magnitude.

For cost reduction and energy efficiency purposes, industry will prioritise the operational excellence agenda nurturing innovation. The customer excellence agenda will come second as the ultimate goal of services will be to create value to customers.

Overall, this is the scenario where stakeholders put climate survival first, and the green enlightenment is amplified by state policies. Services offered to customers are not trendy. The mobility industry is simply about efficient and clean transportation.

The Village Scenario

  •  Linda and her family knew it that a radical change needed to be made, and soon, for the general public was awakening to the likelihood that it was already too late to change the damage already done to the climate.
  • Linda's father, Ernesto, was the CEO of an automotive company who had – luckily – been preparing for such a green awakening in the general populace. Ernesto helped young Linda lobby to the state, and together they convinced their government that the demand of customers and industry together left no choice but to mandate radical policy change in the automotive sector in favor of saving the planet.
  • Variety, innovation, and focus was now directed toward the energy sector. Linda and her community knew that energy innovation directly equated to long, healthy, and happy lives for the generations to come, and most importantly, the planet on which those generations would thrive.
